The Certificate in Advanced Reasoning and Analytic Judgment is an eight-module, self-paced program with worked figures, graded assessments, a capstone and a certificate anyone can verify online. It is built for individuals, schools and companies.
Rigorous modules, written like a graduate seminar.
Each module opens with learning outcomes, builds the concepts step by step with worked examples and diagrams, and ends with a graded assessment that gives reasoned feedback, not only a score.
- Learning outcomes at the top of every module
- Worked figures, tables and primary-literature references
- Assessments with explanations and a competency profile

One continuous line of reasoning.
The Anatomy of Argument
Reconstruct arguments in standard form, test validity and strength, and map warrants, schemes and critical questions.
Deductive Reasoning
Propositional logic, truth-functional validity, quantified statements and the systematic ways human deduction fails.
Probabilistic Reasoning and Bayesian Updating
Probability as a logic of uncertainty: base rates, Bayes’ theorem in probability and odds form, diagnosticity, and the classic errors of intuitive inference.
Abductive Reasoning and Competing Hypotheses
Inference to the best explanation, the dangers of an inadequate hypothesis set, and Heuer’s Analysis of Competing Hypotheses, with its empirical record.
Causal Reasoning and Confounding
Association and causation, confounders, mediators and colliders, causal diagrams, Simpson’s paradox and the Bradford Hill considerations.
Cognitive Bias and Debiasing
The heuristics-and-biases programme, the limits of intuition, and what the evidence says about reducing error.
Decisions, Uncertainty and Forecasting
Expected value, prospect theory, structured multi-criteria decisions, probability forecasting, scoring rules and calibration, with the evidence from the IARPA forecasting tournament.
Analytic Tradecraft, Estimative Language and Capstone
The analytic standards used by the U.S. Intelligence Community, probability terms and confidence, and a capstone that integrates the course.
Ideas you can see.
Original diagrams from the course: causal roles, natural frequencies, argument maps, selection tasks and competing-hypothesis matrices.

Graded assessments with reasoned feedback.
Timed, one question at a time, with question banks that vary between attempts. Results feed a competency profile across the eight modules.
- Per-module assessments and a capstone
- Competency profile and results report
- Accessible: see the accessibility statement

A certificate anyone can verify.
On completion you receive a certificate and a record of results. Each carries a verification code and QR code. Employers and institutions can confirm authenticity at the verification page and the results report at the report check.

Enrol a class or a team, and see results by competency.
Organisations invite their own learners and see only their own data: gradebook, analytics, certificates and announcements. Learners join from a personal invitation link.
- Invitation links and sign-up in one step
- Mastery by competency and score distribution by module
- Strict separation between organisations
- Two-step verification required for every account

Everything in one place.
You control your account, end to end.
Strict standards for user autonomy and data governance are upheld. You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, through the app or the secure web portal below. A valid email is required on every account, because it is the only way winners are reached.
Verified deletion workflow
Every deletion request is processed through an encrypted, verified workflow to protect data integrity and your identity.
Security-first infrastructure
Enterprise-grade security practices safeguard every scholar's account and submission, platform-wide.
No selling of personal data
Your data is never sold. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy below and in the complete Privacy Policy.
Change your own password and email
Change your password and your sign-in email yourself, any time: a link confirms a new email address and a notice goes to the old one, and a password change signs your other devices out. Passwords need at least 12 characters with a letter and a number. Reset a forgotten password · Tutor Network account · Academy account · Alexia Publish account
Valid email required
A valid email is required, as it is the only way winners are reached. If an invalid email is detected after registering, the account is deleted. Accounts are also deleted when email delivery keeps failing, and immediately to prevent scams and bots. Read why.

Alexia Publish is a separate product from Alexia Network LLC. It keeps every claim attached to its source, schedules posts at the times you set, and seals each approval in a tamper-evident ledger. It is a publishing tool, not a degree, not accredited and carries no academic credit.
Proof Studio
Paste an article, report or preprint. The studio ranks the findings by the evidence behind them, matches each citation to the reference list, checks DOIs against Crossref and drafts posts that keep their sources.
Evidence Ledger
Every draft, edit, approval and publication is sealed by the hash of the entry before it. A broken chain names the entry where it broke, and any post can have a public proof page.
Autopilot
Fills the posting times you set with cited posts: your own Proof Studio findings first, then the Publication, then the news briefing. Drafts wait for your approval unless you switch review off, and a posting time is never left empty.
Post in your language
Choose the language your posts go out in, from 13 languages. Translated posts are machine translations and always wait for your approval before they are published.
Teams and approvals
Each person connects their own LinkedIn profile. Owners, administrators, editors and viewers have different rights, with posting times in your own time zone, a daily ceiling and a stagger between profiles.
Security by default
Two-step verification is required for every account. LinkedIn tokens are stored encrypted, you authorise through LinkedIn’s own sign-in, and administrators have an audit trail.
Start free
The trial starts when you register and does not ask for a card. Plans and prices are shown on the Alexia Publish page.

Learn from verified tutors anywhere in the world, with your payment protected.
The Tutor Network is a global marketplace of verified students and verified tutors from Alexia Network LLC. Every person is checked before they teach, book or are paid; payment is protected until the session is delivered; and every booking is covered by a written agreement. It is open to adults aged 18 and over, and a parent may book for a child through their own account.
Find a tutor, book a time, learn.
Browse tutors by subject, language and availability, read their profiles and reviews, send a message to arrange a time, and book. Sessions are held by video or in the platform’s classroom, and classroom sessions are not recorded.
- Verified students and verified tutors only
- Messages stay on the platform and are screened for off-platform payment attempts
- Clear cancellation and refund rules, in writing, before you pay
Nothing moves until the lesson is done.
A student’s card is charged through Stripe when the tutor accepts. The money is held and released to the tutor after the session is delivered. If a tutor cancels late, declines late or does not attend, the student is refunded in full, including the service fee and tax, and a strike is recorded on the tutor’s profile.
- Card and bank details go to Stripe, never to our servers
- Charge reviews by an administrator within the days stated in the Master Agreement
- Payments and agreements are written to tamper-evident, hash-chained records
Verified people
Students and tutors are verified with an identity document reviewed by authorized staff, and tutors also confirm an education or institutional email address. Identity documents are kept only for a limited time after review.
Agreements that bind both sides
Every booking carries a Tutoring Agreement under the Tutor Network Master Agreement. Signed copies are issued as locked PDFs that carry the WSA seal, so any change is visible.
Fair, enforced rules
Late cancellations, no-shows, chargebacks and attempts to take payment off the platform earn strikes. Repeated strikes pause a tutor’s listing or suspend a student’s booking, and an administrator can lift one recorded in error.
Teach on your terms
Tutors set their subjects, rates and availability, are paid through Stripe Connect, and can see their earnings. Tutors are independent professionals and responsible for their own taxes.
In your language
The Tutor Network screens follow your chosen language, from 13 languages, so students and tutors can use it in the language they know best.
Security by default
Tutor accounts support multi-factor authentication, secrets are stored encrypted, administrators leave an audit trail, and the Tutor Network has its own set of readiness controls in our SOC 2 assessment.
Please note. The Tutor Network is a marketplace: tutors are independent professionals, not employees of Alexia Network LLC, and a tutor’s lessons are not an Academy certificate, are not accredited and carry no academic credit. Tutor Network accounts are for people aged 18 or over. The full details are in the Privacy Policy and the Tutor Network Master Agreement.

Built on SOC 2-aligned controls.
World Scholars Arena is engineered around the SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria: security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity and privacy. These are the practices we apply to the platform, the admin console and the Publication.
Access control
The admin console uses signed sessions, request-forgery protection and a full audit log of every change.
Hardened delivery
Content Security Policy with per-request nonces, strict headers, signed links and encrypted transport on every page.
Privacy by design
No selling of personal data, one-click unsubscribe, consent controls and verified account deletion.
Reliability
Fault-tolerant pages and queued, retried email delivery so one failure never takes the platform down.
Tutor Network controls
Fourteen readiness controls cover verified people, identity documents, payments and refunds, agreements, messages, strikes and the tamper-evident ledgers.
Tamper-evident records
Hash-chained ledgers for payments, agreements and publishing make an altered entry detectable, and issued PDFs are locked and sealed.
Payments handled by Stripe
Card and bank details are entered at Stripe and never reach our servers.
Honest about assurance
SOC 2, NIST, CSF and CMMC items here describe our own readiness assessment. They are not an audit report, certificate or government approval.
Mapped to SOC 2, NIST SP 800-53, CSF 2.0 and CMMC 2.0.
Each control we operate is mapped to the frameworks it supports. Administrators can generate the full SOC 2 control report, with the mapping listed per control, from the admin console.
SOC 2
AICPA Trust Services Criteria.
NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5
Security and privacy control families.
NIST CSF 2.0
Cybersecurity Framework functions.
CMMC 2.0
Level 2 follows NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2: 110 requirements in 14 families.
Multi-factor authentication: learners and staff
Every Academy account needs two-step verification with an authenticator app, including teachers and company administrators. Recovery codes protect against a lost device.
Multi-factor authentication: administrators
Administrator sign-in to the admin consoles requires a second factor, with step-up verification for sensitive actions.
Admin access and sessions
Signed sessions, request-forgery protection, rate limiting and an audit log of every administrative change.
Audit logging
Administrative and Academy actions are recorded and reviewable.
Encrypted transport and headers
HTTPS, strict security headers and a Content Security Policy with per-request nonces.
Organisation isolation
Each school and company administrator sees only their own learners and data.
Locked documents
Academy PDFs are encrypted and locked against editing. Lock keys are held on the server and the administrator can retrieve them securely.
Privacy and deletion
No selling of personal data, consent controls, one-click unsubscribe and verified account deletion.
Availability and recovery
Queued, retried email delivery, fault-tolerant pages and a public status page.
Monitoring and incident response
Rate-limited public endpoints, alerting to administrators and a named security contact.
Authenticator replacement and recovery
Users can replace their authenticator or issue new recovery codes after confirming a current code.
Vulnerability disclosure
A published security.txt tells researchers how to reach us.
Controls you can inspect.
The Academy publishes a live platform status page that shows only public health and nothing private. A generated SOC 2 control report is available to administrators.
